Mid Winter Update:

Hello Everyone,

My name is Beth Medeiros, the Commander of Post 49, Pequot Lakes.  I just wanted to share a bit of information with you regarding the Mid-Winter conference. I know our District Commander has put out the good word to get registrations sent in, but I want to make sure everyone knows about the event we are hosting Friday (February 6th) night in support of our District Commander.

First, our kitchen will be providing full service (daily special and the menu) until 8:00PM.

Second (this is the good part!), starting at 5:30 we will have a cash (Visa gift cards) raffle.  Kind of like a meat raffle but with Visa cards.  There will be a total of 8 rounds.  Six of those rounds will have three $25.00 prizes each, one round will have two $50.00 prizes, the final round will have two $100.00 prizes.  In addition to the Visa cards, the Post is donating several of its gift cards and drink tokens.  All proceeds are going to our District Commander's project - Legionville.  In short, the more people who support the event, the more money we can donate.


So why not make a weekend of it and come in Friday night for the festivities?  Let's show our special guest National Vice Commander Jerry Landkamer and District Commander Frank Grittner that the 6th District is the top District!!!
