About the event
Do you have a student who could represent your school well and be a participant in their years American Legion Oratorical Contest? We are seeking motivated and articulate young people who are passionate about the Constitution and could represent our area.

Participants do need a sponsoring post. This can be accomplished by reaching out to the post nearest your school. All posts are listed on our page, and are actively seeking participants.
The 6th District of the Minnesota Department of the American Legion will host the Oratorical Contest at the Nisswa American Legion Post on January 24th, 2026. Participants are requested to arrive no later than 9am.
